This is our “how-to” video which was created to help and guide you through the quick and simple task of building a wooden shed onto a wooden base. This is a job for at least two people, so you will need to have a friend of family member to help you.

It is vital that you build your wooden shed onto a suitable flat hard-standing, to prevent warping and potential damage. In this video we describe building a shed onto a wooden base kit, but there are alternatives. In addition, you can use either concrete or paving slabs but these will need to be 10 cm bigger than the foot print of your shed.

Tongue and groove sheds are manufactured from interlocking tongue and groove boards. The tight fitting nature of this construction material offers greater protection against the elements:

  • Interlocking panels create a more robust structure
  • Superior water protection
  • Stylish finish

Pressure treated overlap sheds offer a low maintenance garden building which looks fantastic.

  • The treatment has been forced into the timber at high pressure giving a longer expected service life and removing the need for annual re-treatment.
  • Our pressure treated products typically come with a 15 year anti-rot guarantee.
