For the strongest, sturdiest and classiest garden storage, plus a separate workshop area, choose the 12 x 8 Forest Premium Tongue & Groove Pressure Treated Double Door Combination Apex Shed (3.65m x 2.52m). With its smart modular design and high-end features, this British-built garden shed is as attractive, robust and durable as wooden sheds come.
Expertly constructed from premium 12mm tongue and groove cladding, on a strapping double 33mm frame (66 x 33mm), this 12x8 shed simply oozes class. Its smart modular design means that it's delivered to you in smaller sections but you get more wood, so you'll find it far easier to assemble than other wooden sheds, and much stronger too.
The floor is also built from premium 12mm tongue and groove, so is perfectly equipped to house your heavier items and will easily cope with regular footfall. Pressure-treated bearers allow good air circulation underneath the shed, which prevents the wood getting damp, protecting this key area from rot and fungal decay.
The 12mm tongue and groove roof sports a apex design, which makes this shed perfectly suited for use as a garden workshop. It is fitted with a premium, red mineral felt cover to keep the shed weathertight and your stored items protected from the elements. Two diamond-shaped finials round off an exceptionally attractive appearance.
You can gain very easy access to the workshop via ledged and braced double doors. The storage shed has its own single door, which is also ledged and braced. Both sets of doors come with exterior turn buttons, interior bolts and a key-operated lock, so rest assured that your valuable machinery and tools will remain safe from unwanted attention. You can hang the single door with a left or right-hand opening - the choice is yours.
Two opening windows ensure the interior benefits from an abundance of natural light and give you the opportunity to ventilate the shed. This is welcome news when you're working inside and a great way to optimise garden storage conditions. These windows are made from 4mm toughened safety glass - perfect if you have family members who enjoy ball games! The high ridgeline offers you ample headroom and increases your garden storage space.
By compartmentalising the workshop and storage areas, this combination shed helps you keep your workspace free from clutter, work more efficiently, avoid unnecessary distractions if others wish to retrieve a stored item, and better organise your overall storage space. This final point is particularly salient if you choose to dedicate both compartments to garden storage.
This garden shed is built using FSC®-certified timber, which is the only wood-certification scheme endorsed by all of the major environmental charities. It is pressure treated to guard against rot and supplied with an impressive 15-year anti-rot guarantee. No further treatment is required, saving you money and leaving you more time to enjoy your garden.
The Forest Premium range of modular tongue and groove, pressure-treated sheds consists of a number of different sizes and designs. What they all have in common is a superior build, achieved by using the same attention to detail and top-quality materials.
Fixings and instructions are both included to help you achieve a straightforward assembly.

Why choose a Premium Tongue & Groove Shed?
With their tongue & groove build, substantial framing and high-end features, Forest’s Premium Sheds offer you robust, practical and exceptionally stylish garden storage. Also, although there’s a slightly higher initial outlay when purchasing one of these sheds, the wood’s pressure-treated protection saves you both time and money in the long run, as no time-consuming, costly retreatments are required.
Premium Tongue and Groove Construction
As the window panels are the same size, they are interchangeable. This means you can choose the window placement to suit the orientation of your garden.
Doors can be positioned to the left or right of the shed. Single doors can be hung with a left- or right-hand opening.
More effective than the surface coating provided by dip treatment, pressure treatment forces preservative deep inside the timber. This results in 15 years of anti-rot protection WITHOUT the need to re-treat. This will save you around £200 in money and time.
The 12mm tongue and groove floor is elevated by pressure-treated joists for extra protection from ground moisture. Due to its thickness, a tongue and groove floor improves the shed’s level of insulation and will neither buckle under the weight of heavier items nor regular footfall. Don’t underestimate the importance of a high-quality roof as it is your shed’s first line of defence against the elements. The Premium tongue and groove shed range roofs are made from 12mm tongue and groove wood, fitted with red mineral felt, for weatherproof protection and a tidy finish.
With double-Z framing, hidden hinges, internal bolts and a key-operated rim lock on every door, security is never an issue. These sheds ensure you’ll enjoy complete peace of mind that your expensive tools and equipment are always safe from unwanted attention.
Boasting a premium construction, these sheds feature 12mm tongue & groove boards, which interlock to create a sleek, weathertight finish that is robust, durable and handsome. The tight construction also resists warping. One of the many things that really sets a Premium Forest Shed apart from its competitors is its robust 66mm x 33mm frame, which is far thicker than on most other sheds to provide even greater stability.
Providing ventilation and light for a pleasant working and storage space, the opening windows are made from toughened safety glass and are secured with high-quality latches. To suit your garden, the windows can be placed on either side of the apex models.
Far stronger and more secure than those found on other wooden sheds, Forest Premium Shed doors are reinforced with sturdy double-Z framing. This prevents them from warping, sagging or dropping. Heavy-duty hinges, interior bolts and a rim lock add even greater security, keeping your valuable tools safe from unwanted attention.
Comes with a 15 year anti-rot guarantee.
Pressure Treatment. No need for annual re treatment.
Smaller sections make transportation and handling easy.
Quick and easy construction.
Pressure Treatment Process Explained
The Pressure Treatment process for timber has been applied to products for a number of years; the key benefit of this process is that the preservative is forced under vacuum pressure right deep into the heart of the wood and the grain structure. The preservative becomes an integral part of the wood; giving a long life and protection against rot.
This process also means that you never have to apply preservatives to your garden shed, and it allows the natural colours of the timber to show through and so your shed blends easily within your garden. Surprisingly, our Pressure Treated Sheds are only slightly more expensive than our Dip Treated Sheds.
Timber is loaded into chamber and a vacuum empties timber cells of air.
Cylinder is flooded under vacuum with preservative.
Preservative is forced deep into timber using hydraulic pressure.
Another vacuum extracts excess preservative.
Timber draws in surface excess of preservative under low pressure, then is left to dry.
NO NEED TO RE-TREAT - SAVING YOU TIME AND MONEY!

Making British Gardens Great
At Forest, we know a fair bit about fences. And sheds for that matter. In fact, we've been one of the UK's most trusted manufacturer and distributor of quality wooden garden products for over 50 years.

From the forest to the doorstep, we are involved every step of the way to ensure we bring you the best product and service.
We're proud to say that the majority of the timber we use is cut in our very own sawmill from trees grown in the UK.
Not only that, but our range is certified by the Forest Stewardship Council and the majority of our products carry the FSC logo - so you know that our timber is ethically sourced from well-managed, sustainable forests that are replanted for future generations.
(Certification number TT-COC-001790, Issue date 5 March 2015)
Well made in Britain
The majority of the timber we use is grown and felled from managed UK forests across Scotland and Wales. After felling, the timber is cut and processed in one of our nearby sawmills and taken to our manufacturing operation in the heart of Britain. It is here our skilled workforce proudly produce the widest range of garden buildings, fencing and structures available in the UK.
All of the products that we sell are dispatched from this site. The final part of their journey is managed by our dedicated delivery department who are responsible for distribution direct to customers' homes by our fleet of vehicles.
Helping Everyone Thrive
We like to do our bit for charity and are proud to support Thrive. Thrive uses gardening as therapy to bring about positive changes in the lives of people living with disabilities or ill health, or those who are isolated, disadvantaged or vulnerable.
