Expertly built in Great Britain, from 44mm interlocking logs, this garden cabin is robust, durable and incredibly well insulated. Both the floor and roof are constructed from 16mm tongue and groove, so they’re strong, stylish and supremely weathertight. The roof features an eye-catching curved design and is fitted with a premium mineral felt cover, so you’ll enjoy complete weatherproof protection.

The wood used to build this stylish log cabin is FSC® certified, which is the world’s most trusted mark for sustainable forestry.

Double Doors and Opening Windows

You can gain easy access to the garden room via glazed double doors, which include adjustable hinges, a chrome handle, and key-operated lock to keep your valuables secure. Thanks to 2 additional large windows, this log cabin enjoys an abundance of natural light. Both of these windows are openers, so you can ventilate the interior, whenever you desire. The glass used is 14mm double glazing, providing increased insulation and better soundproofing.

Installation, Treatment and Guarantees

This log cabin should be installed on a firm, level base. The wood is supplied untreated and must be coated in a high-quality preservative and waterproofing treatment upon assembly, and annually thereafter. This will protect it from rot, validate the impressive 10-year anti-rot guarantee, and maintain the log cabin’s attractive appearance. Alternatively, why not paint your new garden cabin for a more individual look?

A 1-year parts guarantee is also included.

Mercia has a team of trained installers who can carry out your log cabin installation for a professional, hassle-free assembly. Their dedicated training to installing Mercia Log Cabins ensures an expert finish.

 

Please be aware that the delivery and installation will not occur on the same day but will be scheduled very close together where possible.

 

The fitters will require at least 60cm/24” on each side of the base to carry out the installation. The base should be level and on firm ground. Mercia recommend that the base be very slightly smaller than the external measurement of the building to create a run off for water and that the door be at least 25mm above ground level to prevent flooding.

 

Mercia do not provide a service for the preparation of the base area or for installation of electrics, wi-fi, solar lighting or plastic bases. If you require assistance with these, we recommend the use of Checkatrade.com for locating a reputable tradesperson in your area. Solar lighting packs are designed to be easy DIY assembly.

 

Please inform customer service BEFORE you order, if you believe there are restrictions which could impact the delivery and installation of the garden room.

Delivery of this item is typically made by a 7.5 ton flat-bed (similar size to a council refuse lorry) up to an 18 ton lorry (similar size to a removals lorry). Delivery is typically between 7am and 7pm. Unfortunately, we are unable to specify a timed delivery.

This product is delivered in a flat packed, sectional format direct from the manufacturer to your home with full instructions ready for DIY assembly.

The delivery drivers are only insured to deliver to kerb side or driveway. We would not risk damaging your property whilst delivering a product to an unsafe location. Unfortunately we will not be able to go through your property. Please note that some buildings will not pass through standard doorways in houses. Please call to seek advice if there are any access concerns.
