Floor and Roof
To potentially save you unnecessary expenditure, this garden cabin is supplied without a floor as standard. For this reason, we advise you to position it on a firm, level surface. Should you desire specialist flooring, an extra-thick 19mm tongue and groove floor is available for you to buy as an optional extra.
The roof is constructed from premium 16mm tongue and groove, recognised for its strength, weathertight qualities and aesthetic appeal. It comes with a generous overhang to shield the interior from sun glare – perfect whether you’re relaxing or working inside. A traditional apex design and 2 diamond-shaped finials round off an incredibly attractive appearance, which is sure to complement the rest of your garden beautifully.
Choice of Roof Coverings
Please be advised that the roof does not include a cover as standard. Select from SBS, Charcoal Felt Shingles or Roof Felt Underlay as an optional upgrade.
(SBS is a thick, torch-on felt with an exceptionally long lifespan and outstanding weatherproof qualities. Unless you possess advanced DIY skills, we recommend hiring a professional installer to fit it.
Heavy-duty Charcoal Felt Shingles are a permanent weatherproof roof covering, which is attractive, easy to instal and extremely durable.
Roof Underlay Felt is simple to nail on to the garden building but only designed as a temporary solution until you have added a permanent weatherproof roof cover upgrade.)
Doors and Windows
You can gain comfortable access to the interior through wide double doors, which feature a laminated frame to keep out draughts and prevent the warping and cracking caused by changes in temperature. They also include a stainless-steel sill cover, which stops the timber wearing down after heavy usage. When you’re not at home, you can rest assured that your stored items are safe from unwanted attention thanks to a key-operated cylinder lock. The 2 large windows on the door provide plenty of natural light. Both of them are made from real glass, for that extra little touch of class.
This log cabin also includes another large window, which you can open using a tilt and turn mechanism. It is made from real glass and features an exterior gutter.
