An excellent size shed to accommodate all your garden storage. Our 8x6 Pressure Treated Overlap Shed has a traditional handsome look and features an Ondulinelight weight corrugated roof that provides an attractive and extremely robust weatherproof roof.

This 8x6 Pressure Treated Overlap Shed is a premium shed features square cut 8mm square edged overlap timber fixed to 28mm x 28mm framing which helps rain water run off the building and allows for flexibility and movement. It has a robust and stable pressure treated boarded floor supported by floor bearers and the roof is also constructed from durable 10mm sheet material to ensure a robust structure.

The door has safe and secure hidden hinges with security screws and has been braced with double “Z” framing for extra strength; it can also be hung on either side to suit and secured by the plate hasp and staple using a padlock (not included). The sheds tow windows are unbreakable Polycarbonate glazing which never turns yellow or goes brittle over time unlike some cheaper alternatives, allowing in extra light and they are fixed in place with security screws.

The timber used for the 8x6 Pressure Treated Overlap Shed is pressure treated which affords a 15 year guarantee against rot and fungal decay, it also eliminates the need for annual re-treatment making it cost effective and time saving!

Assembly is incredibly easy and will be completed in only a few hours thanks to the simple instructions fixtures and sitting provided and no need for complex tools.

Pressure Treatment Process Explained

The Pressure Treatment process for timber has been applied to products for a number of years; the key benefit of this process is that the preservative is forced under vacuum pressure right deep into the heart of the wood and the grain structure. The preservative becomes an integral part of the wood; giving a long life and protection against rot.

This process also means that you never have to apply preservatives to your garden shed, and it allows the natural colours of the timber to show through and so your shed blends easily within your garden. Surprisingly, our Pressure Treated Sheds are only slightly more expensive than our Dip Treated Sheds.
