Shed Base Option

Plastic Shed Base Kit
Quick and simple to install, the 10x6 plastic shed base kit is ideal for avoiding the hassle of laying slabs or concrete when preparing a base for a new shed. Its interlocking design makes it easy to put together and, though lightweight, it provides a very strong and durable base for the shed. Made from 100% recycled plastic, this shed base is eco-friendly. Also, it can be reused if the shed is repositioned. The base allows for ventilation and drainage under the shed, helping to keep the shed floor dry.
To install the base, simply interlock the square grids together and lay onto a firm, level area of ground. We recommend using 15kg of 10m pea gravel per square (gravel not included). Each square is 500 x 500 x 50mm. This pack contains 24 squares and heavy-duty, commercially-graded weed membrane.
Dip treated sheds
Why choose a dip treated shed?
Dip treated sheds are economical as well as long-lasting; these garden sheds are perfect for those in search of a cost-effective storage solution for gardening tools, equipment, and outdoor toys.
To ensure maximum security, durability, and robustness, our Forest branded sheds are equipped with a number of other important features. For instance, hidden door hinges and a hasp and staple are used to provide extra security; the windows are made from unbreakable polycarbonate and attached with security screws; and the doors are strengthened with additional diagonal framing. Furthermore, the eaves height of the sheds is 6 inches greater than most other brands, providing maximum storage space.

Don't be fooled by cheap imitations. Buy a shed to last a lifetime!
Our Sheds
Our dip treated sheds are dipped in an anti-fungal solution treatment, providing short term protection. Therefore, they do not need to be treated for the first 12 months and come with a 10 year guarantee against rot when supported with annual retreatment.
Competitors' Sheds
An initial water-based treatment has been applied to protect the timber from mould for approximately 3 months. It is recommended that the wood be re-treated on installation and every year thereafter.

Dip Treatment Process Explained
Dip treatment is a tried and tested method of applying wood preservative to timber products, and the process is fairly straightforward. First, the timber is dipped into a cylinder containing a powerful wood preservative. The preservative is then absorbed into the surface of the timber and, after it’s removed and left to dry, it will be thoroughly protected it against both rot and fungal decay.
After the dip treatment process is completed, the timber will have a lovely orangey-brown hue, ensuring it will become an attractive feature of your garden, as well as complementing most fence panels. Of course, you can choose to stain your dip treated shed another colour upon assembly. If you’re interested in an affordable, practical, and sturdy dip treated shed, why not take a look at our featured products below?

From the Supplier: Forest Garden
"We're proud to be the largest and most trusted manufacturer and distributor of garden timber products in the UK" - Forest Garden

Making British Gardens Great
At Forest, we know a fair bit about fences. And sheds for that matter. In fact, we've been one of the UK's most trusted manufacturer and distributor of quality wooden garden products for over 50 years.
With two sawmills in the UK processing locally-sourced timber, and a Head Office in Hartlebury, Worcestershire, you’ll find our range of garden buildings, fencing, decking and decorative structures for sale across many sites online and in over 3,000 retail stores. From the forest to the doorstep, we are involved every step of the way to ensure we bring you the best product and service.

Home Grown
We're proud to say that the majority of the timber we use is cut in our very own sawmill from trees grown in the UK.
Not only that, but our range is certified by the Forest Stewardship Council and the majority of our products carry the FSC logo - so you know that our timber is ethically sourced from well-managed, sustainable forests that are replanted for future generations.
(Certification number TT-COC-001790, Issue date 5 March 2015)

Well made in Britain
The majority of the timber we use is grown and felled from managed UK forests across Scotland and Wales. After felling, the timber is cut and processed in one of our nearby sawmills and taken to our manufacturing operation in the heart of Britain. It is here our skilled workforce proudly produce the widest range of garden buildings, fencing and structures available in the UK.
All of the products that we sell are dispatched from this site. The final part of their journey is managed by our dedicated delivery department who are responsible for distribution direct to customers' homes by our fleet of vehicles.

Helping Everyone Thrive
We like to do our bit for charity and are proud to support Thrive. Thrive uses gardening as therapy to bring about positive changes in the lives of people living with disabilities or ill health, or those who are isolated, disadvantaged or vulnerable.
