The launch of our new online shop in the Irish Republic is another milestone in our company's 6-year history. In 2007, we launched specialist websites for the DIY Home Improvement market for garden fencing and garden decking. New for 2011, our Irish website means our customers can now buy our Garden Sheds in Ireland as well as purchase from our extensive range of garden storage, garden buildings and products for the popular Grow Your Own market.
So why branch out now? Well, as we've become better known we've seen a big increase in the number of emails and calls from people in Ireland wanting to buy our garden products. Sadly, at the time we just couldn't service the Irish market to the same high standards that our UK customers have come to expect from us. We knew we had to make sure the delivery and customer-service quality was right from day one. That was our goal and I'm pleased to say we believe we've achieved it!
